Excellent
There's a real sense of down-home in Yucca Valley. It's pretty lowbrow in general, but there are a lot of arty people as well and the small shops are cool. The homes in the hills to the east are really nice. The desert is beautiful.

Yucca Valley has grown a great deal since my last visit and was very impressed. My goal was Joshua Tree National Park but did spend time in Yucca Valley and enjoyed it. This hotel is very nice, and the BEST BED I have ever slept on. Very cool and hip

"My partner and I loved this place. The man at the front desk was super friendly. The room was clean. We had the jungle room and it was just a lot of fun to stay in. Our room also had a jacuzzi inside which was nice to relax in after a day at Joshua Tree National Park. We want to go back and stay in the Cave room next!"
