「The elevator was broken. The first room I was given smelled like urine and the windows were painted shut, so there was no air. My second room was much better, but the shower stopped running midway through. I had to use the hot and cold faucets in the tub to rinse off. The staff was pleasant.」

「I stayed for one night and appreciated having an affordable place close to the station, with plenty of shops nearby. I was also happy to find a kettle with coffee and tea, which made for a fresh and pleasant morning. The only downside was that there was no hand soap or shampoo provided, which would have made the stay more comfortable. It was an accessible room and the bathroom had plenty of handrails, just one problem the bath was too steep and high too get into for someone with accessibility issues. A walk In shower would have been more accessible. Breakfast was great. I had to go back for extra sausage lol」

「We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!」

「Upon checking in was greeted by an unfriendly team member who was not welcoming. There is no lift in this hotel so we had to take our luggage down stairs and then upstairs which was horribly inconvenient. The room was ok but with no air conditioning it was much hotter inside than it was outside. There was a fan in the room that could have been turned on for us but wasn’t.
