Very spacious hotel with free hot spring, foot bath, ice cream and manga reading area. It's close to gotemba outlet only 10 mins drive so can shop till late. There is a very nice park next to it too. We had breakfast at the cafe nearby about 5 mins walk. Overall great stay and would love to be back.

A beautiful new and modern hotel with natural materials used to decorate walls and flooring. The onsen area is beautiful. Tattoos allowed of covered. Rooms on the small side but very comfortable with free water and jelly in fridge. There’s nothing in the surrounding area other than a forest area beside the hotel and it’s some distance from the station but the views from the roof top of Mt Fuji were fantastic. We went up for sunrise and weren’t disappointed. We hiked Mt Kintoki the following day and again had amazing views of Mt Fuji. I’d definitely stay here again.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The roof top foot bath has a spectacular view of Mount Fuji which I enjoyed very much.

Could be better
It’s a nice hotel, but there’s not much around so the location is bad. I a,ways stay at Dormy Inn for the spa, but this one wasn’t so good. The sauna is small and too hot and the cold bath is freezing and painful. I won’t stay there again.

Great hotel, great staff, good sized rooms with very comfortable beds. The room/hotel was very clean and provided all the amenities one needs for a great stay! This is a great property if you want something very relaxing and quiet with a great view of Mt. Fuji from the outdoor roof area. Would definitely recommend to anyone or family!!

Hotel is conveniently located next to the Chichibunomiya Memorial Park 秩父宮記念公園 with many attractions in the neighbourhood, with direct bus to/from Gora, Gotemba Premium Outlet and Gotemba station. Room is spacious and clean, and equipped with standard Dormy Inn amenities.

I've never given a hotel 10 stars before but Dormy Inn in Gotemba was a first. It was a last minute booking at less than $100 USD, and I was unsure about the hot springs bath. The walk was 1.5 miles from the train station after dark, but at no time did we feel unsafe in transit. The hot springs were very nice, the amenities were plentiful, the room was small but very comfortable. Even a bowl of hot noodles from the kitchen were complementary after 9:30pm. The hotel did surprise us with a 300 yen fee levied by the Japanese government to help us to appreciate the hot springs. No complaints, the perfect stay.

Peaceful Visit
Had a good visit partially due to free 2 hour electric bicycle ride provided by hotel. Room was extremely small. Free ice cream after the spa was a real plus. Location is beautiful with fantastic views of Mt Fuji from the hotel roof. A forest park next door was very beautiful and peaceful. Hot spa was clean and well designed.

For a hotel that such a decent price, there was so many freebies. Almost felt like I was at muji hotel again where you could take home so much stuff. First off, there was yogurt drinks free, ice cream free, soba noodles at 930-1100 pm and foot hot spring and regular hot spring. The room was great with a secondary door to block our sound. The washroom was immaculate and shower was epic with a wand spray that like power washing a car. It was a amazing experience and I would choose to go back time and again.

Very clean and modern hotel mixed with Japanese style. 5 mins car ride to JR Gotemba station. We booked a twin room, bed and room size adequate. Bathroom on the smaller side. Great facilities! Foot bath, rental bikes, onsen (even provide complimentary ice cream & yakult after onsen!) Good selection of breakfast items, very good value! Staff speak smattering English but are helpful though. Highly recommend this hotel!

チェックイン時の担当者は少し説明が足りず不親切。初めてのドーミーインだったのでよく分からない事が多かったので、翌日違う女性フロントの人がチェックイン対応しているのを見ていたら丁寧に説明していたので、この人だったら良かったのにと残念だった。ホテルは女性目線の細かな配慮がところどころにあってかゆいところに手が届く心配りが随所に見られ良かった。夜泣きそばも嬉しい。アウトレットで歩き回って疲れた足に足湯は生き返った。男性のホテルマンが対応がトンチンカンで良くなかったのがとても残念。
