"This location couldnt have been better for exploring and enjoying the local life. The room was nice and modern with available kitchen and sitting area. Communication was prompt and good. My only complaint was that the room smelled like a smoker had stayed in it and I'm super sensitive to that smell. Great place though! "

"Beautiful grand hotel, amazing hall, high ceilings, great value for money, it is really worth paying a little extra for the classic rooms to experience this grand building (the cosy rooms on the top floor are fine but small, low ceiling and not particularly good value for money). The buffet breakfast is in a grand classic ballroom-type room with 5m high ceilings. Really worth it. Service was really pleasant, but they allocated us a cosy room on arrival vs the classic room we had booked: fortunately i had checked this in detail beforehand and went back down to be given the right room (without that detailed check beforehand, we would have simply concluded that we had been unlucky in the room allocation): we assume that was a genuine mistake but we did not appreciate that at all. "
