One complaint is that the entrance gate was open the entire time we were there. Not too safe! Clean property and room, glad that security made people leave the pool at 10pm. Close to Sonic, Wal-Mart, etc., and beach view and access, across the street. this is my 4th time staying at the Victorian

The only thing that was good was the ocean view. The room temperature was too hot at night (76 degrees) making it impossible for me to sleep. The cook top did not work, therefore I was unable to prepare food. The television was programed to cut off every 30 minutes--cutting off right in the middle of a movie! I will NEVER stay at the Victorian again. My entire get away trip was a disaster.

Our unit was great! It is a gated property and they have 24 hr security so we felt safe. Just walk across the street to the beach. The view was great. Can’t wait till I can come back again!

Arrived to find a huge crack in the ceiling above dining room, door frame around front door was barely attached/ broken, blinds broken and unable to sleep in cause sun came straight in, bunk bed stairs was broken, and floor was dirty. Property was not as shown in photos. Very unhappy

Our condo was extremely dirty. The rug looked like it had never been vacuumed or cleaned. Huge black stains and it was turning my kids feet black. I had to lay a blanket down for my 1 year old to even sit on the floor. The dishes had hair and were very dirty. There was no hand soap, the patio covered in ants and the couch was also extremely dirty.

The condo was budget friendly and in a good location. It was decorated cute, they had a pool, and the staff in the lobby were friendly and helpful. The things I did not like: It was smaller than I anticipated for my family of 4 but we made it work. I was disappointed it did not have an oven or a full size fridge since I cooked most of our meals. They should consider taking out the walk in pantry and putting in one of those items. The forks and spoons in the drawer were still dirty from the last people. You should also consider having something on the patio where you can hang up beach towels/bathing suits to dry for the next day.

We really enjoyed the view from the balcony of the gulf. Everyone was so polite and friendly. Out of the 3 times we have been to Galveston, this has been our best of them all.

Will not stay again.

Let me 1st add that the condo itself was clean, which I appreciated… - Upon arriving, we were informed the elevator was out of order. Mind you, we were on the 3rd floor & I had my 70 yr. old mother w/ me. She suffers from crippling arthritis - there was no way we could stay. While discussing leaving, a lady approached us with her business card. She said she overheard our conversation & informed us there was an elevator at the other end of the building that was working. It was a bit of a walk, but at least I could get my mother up to the 3rd floor. Why didn’t the front desk tell us about the other elevator?? - Neither bathrooms had a fully functioning toilet - we had to jiggle each button to stop the toilet from running & fill the tank. - The bedroom to the left of the front door has a window visible from the hallway - when the wind from the ceiling fan catches the thin curtain it opens for everyone in the hallway to see into the bedroom. It needs a blind, as well as a thicker curtain. - “Bedroom” w/ the bunkbeds was more like a closet. Bunkbeds were so rickety there was no way I was putting any of my kids on the top or bottom. - The balcony curtain rod came apart every time we opened or closed the balcony door. - bedroom curtains are thin and don’t block out any morning light. - Kitchen has 6 open shelves for dishes, 3 of which are leaning and coming out of the wall. - There’s a pull out couch, but not usable - it slants so bad, you’d think you were sitting on a slide.
