It is a cheaper motel and an old motel so must keep this in mind as to what you will expect. Room was clean and the mattresses cheap, yet not too firm. Quite understandable about the damage security deposit upon check in since the previous person that stayed apparently punched a hole in the shower, not an easy fix. The motel was very quiet and I slept quite well. The motel room served its purpose for me.

No the a/c didn't work very good. We booked the room on expedia never told us there was a $50 deposit. Bugs in the room. Dirtiest place i have a stayed in. Don't stay here. We just called about getting deposit back he said 5-7 days but thats not what he said in the office. DONT STAY HERE!!!

I am completely ok with a hotel that is older and worn. I am not ok with unclean. The floors were filthy. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets did not fit well, so were coming off. The bedspread was stained and dirty. The staff who checked us in was polite and businesslike. I have no conplaints there. There were two of us staying there. There were two bath towels, one washrag, one hand towel, and no bath mat. We are in Galveston regularly, but will not be staying with this hotel again.

Fortunately the site is walking distance to the beach, grocery store, and a couple of good restaurants. The front desk guy was knowledgeable and polite. Our non-smoking room wreaked of smoke we stayed there for 4 days never had any housekeeping the toilet didn't work well light was out and they were always weird people lurking about... This shouldn't be more than a $40 or $50 a night room

BUGS!

I need a refund. The three rooms they showed me had bugs everywhere. The worst experience to take my family to, even with a newborn. That hotel isn't like the photos. I need a refund, please. We didn't even sleep there.

Probably poorly maintained and very tattered and torn down. Smelled, floors extremely dirty, beds not nice! Couch was the worst! Did not see any bed bugs as others have, but don’t believe web. Details. Very small 32 inch tv’s almost no channels to watch, A/C definitely not great. Outside area has homeless sleeping in alley in back. No lobby to speak of and no breakfast of any kind, for 130 a nigh you could at least get a banana or orange, and hot coffee! Nope! Fridge was good! And pool was maintained and good! Cheap accommodation near the sea wall! They know it and exploit it and charge way too much for what you get! I’d stay away!

The room had cockroaches. We spotted and killed at least twenty and had to sleep fully dressed. We couldn't get the TV to work, only one bath towel, and squeaky beds with poor bedding. I would not recommend. We didn't have a choice because of the winter storm. All good hotels were fully booked.

Only stayed here because everything else in the area was full.

Room was is such a bad state! Dead bugs, ring around the tub and horrible soundproofing. I think a herd of elephants were partying all night above me. The bedding looked so bad that I slept on top of it and covered with a blanket that I brought, thank goodness! I’m pretty good with staying at 1-2 star places, just need a cot & a crapper but this lowered the bar and I will not stay here again!

Very unclean, Floor felt like it has never seen a mop. smoke detector was taken down, the fitted sheet they put on bare mattress was full instead of queen and would not stay on. Sheet had holes in it. The drapes were hanging off the hooks. Tv and remotes were filthy. Room smelled like smoke even though non smoking room. This place is very run down.
