There was trash all over parking lot. Bed was held up with cinder block. There were no towels, washcloths ect in the room. Cement block was in night stand to keep it from wobbling. Curtains and lamp shade looked liked they had been hanging in a smoke filled bar and cewed by moths for the last 30 years. There is a brand new owner who making improvements. Progress is slow though. If you decide to go wait 6 months maybe he will be done by then.

For having a cordless phone the front desk attendant never answers it. I waited about 20 to even talk to him, however the process was super easy and fast which was great. The furniture needs to be updated but I just needed the one night for court in the morning coming from out of town.

Room was not very clean, tv didn't work, could hardly shut the bathroom door, no towels( had to go to the desk to get), no phone in room, blanket on bed had holes in it, no bedspread, could see outside on the underneath of air conditioner. Staff was perfect. Location for us was great, quiet at night, pool looked nice but we didn't use it.

Dirty room, old worn out furniture, roach infested, no front desk service 24 hr. Would never return to this hotel, I would of rebooked elsewhere if rooms were available. Due to it being mardi gra had to bite the bullet.

The room was dirty, had hair in the bed. No trash can in room and very thin towels. Building needs some serious repair. I will not be staying here again.

This place should be condemned! The parking lot was trashed, the building is far more than run down. The room smelled awful, no lights over sink, no shower curtain, no water in toilet, no towels, no sheets on broken down bed only a small blanket thrown on top. Roaches crawling on walls, hair in fridge, bugs on bed, pillows, if they could be called that, had filthy cases. I did not stay! This place is scary and disgusting!

The first room had no heat,I called front desk from my cell phone ( there was no room phone ) and was hung up on 4 times Moved us 5 rooms down(after having to go all the way to front desk because kept picking up phone and hanging it up ) Room was filthy,smelt like smoke no lock on door,refrigerator didn't work and had trash inside,no microwave,burn holes on blanket no pillow cases on pillows,lights were broke something was thrown all over the wall, floor was filthy. I have pictures!!! I didn't sleepbut 2 hrs. People running down halls all night and slamming doors. I wouldnt want a stray dog to stay there !!! Not fit for anyone to stay there!!
All this stuff was left in fridge .fridge part was hot top was a solid ice.
See all the light coming in around door ( and was 37 outside) top security lock was broke off.

Roach in the room, no bath towels and shower mat, broken bed, chair has burned holes, dirty mattress cover and blanket, dirty floor and table, smoking smell in a non-smoking room, bath tub was dirty, Roach was in there and the floor. One of the small bugs got in our food.

Lady at desk wasn’t pleasant , hated her job. I was greeted by being told I need to go look at the room first because the last 3 people changed their minds and said no they weren’t staying there. They had no clean towels because the inlay who does towels had a heart attack. Appliances were outdated and old and dirty, tub had chips all around it and had roaches coming out holes and the drains. Room smelled like smoke & smelled old and stale. This place is made for a homeless person who just needs to get off the streets in the cold. Appliances didn’t work. I don’t see how they pass inspection. The owner needs to be fined. This is a poor representation of Expedia partnership.

This place is HORRIBLE. We walked in and it reeked of cigarettes. There were holes burned in the blankets and dirt everywhere. Stains on the box springs. I was horrified. There was no way I was going to sleep on the bed. Went to Academy and bought a blanket then to Walmart and bought new pillows, A sheet set, and blankets. Finally told my husband there was no way i could do it. Went back there and went into the office and told the clerk i just could not stay there. She said, "You are not the only one." She refunded my money, I went and got my suitcase i had taken inside and we went to Salsas to eat and find a place to stay before our cruise. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. It is a Rent by the hour smelling place.

It's $62 a night. That's it / the front desk Ma'am was and is curteous and efficient. But this place should be bulldozed. It would take too long to go over the upgrades and fixes needed like 2 cracks in the toilet seat - pardon the pun. Again it's $62 and I needed to come early to Galveston for a cruise due to bad weather and chose cheap and got awful. 5 pm to 10 am isn't a killer but I hope I can put my bad decision (my decision alone) behind me. Don't believe the web photos!! lol!!

Motel wouldnt let me check in until 4pm and at 1pm when i got there ibrequestedi needed a downstairs room and she said she didnt have one so she gave me a upstairs room and when i got ice from the laundry riom there over 10 rooms downstairs that was vacant and the clerk was rude and when i checked in she gave people behind me downstairs room but with my bad knee she forced me to take a upstairs room there
