Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice except the shower head and the lamp shade next to the bed were both pretty nasty looking. And I thought that was odd, because they are both so easy and inexpensive to change.

Super convenient to both MSC and Carnival ports. We could have walked to the port the morning of our departure if it weren’t for the massive rainstorm that decided boarding time was the best time to start pouring outside! Breakfast was simple but filling with a decent selection of options. Room was large with a great view of the ships coming and going!

Our stay at Harbor House Hotel and Marina at Pier 21 was outstanding from start to finish. The location alone is unbeatable — right on the waterfront with beautiful marina views and just steps from great dining, shopping, and attractions. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully updated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. The staff deserves special recognition for their friendliness and professionalism. Every interaction felt genuine, and they went out of their way to make the experience smooth and enjoyable. Waking up to the sunrise over the harbor was unforgettable, and the easy access to Pier 21 made exploring Galveston effortless. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic, and well‑managed place to stay in Galveston, Harbor House Hotel and Marina is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room was nice and clean and comfortable however the walls are thin and the people in the other rooms tv was so loud it sounded like people fighting in the hall way it kept us up half the night and the people outside on the pier singing and yelling also kept us up. You also have to pay for parking which we didn't know there's tons of construction. Which makes it hard to get into the parking lot. They did accommodate us with early check in after our cruise.

The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was a great size. The Harbor House is close to lots of places even being right on the water. The parking lot and construction right in front of it makes it a bit of a challenge, but doable.

Absolute best place to stay, especially if you're going on one of the cruise ships located at the adjoining piers. Excellent location in the historic area of Galveston with everything you need within walking distance or trolley service. Hotel was very clean with amazing staff; especially Dee who is one of the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating hotel staff associates I've ever had the pleasure to deal with.
