「The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.」

「No balcony, but the view was good enough for me and my family. They don’t have any breakfast unless you order room service. The night guy at the front desk always seemed to be in the bathroom, which was a little weird to me. The elevators were quick—no long wait at all. Valet service was smooth and fast. Since it’s downtown, just be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go. The showers were nice, and the room was clean and cozy for our stay. Big shoutout to the valet guy who helped us bring...

「The staff was so friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful in welcoming us, sharing their extensive knowledge of the history of the property, and in ensuring dinner reservations in the restaurant on an extremely busy nearby concert night! The property was spectacular combining historic architecture with an eclectic contemporary vibe. Our hotel room was beautiful, spacious and quiet. Loved the bathroom decor! Our dinner was excellent starting with a delicious Louisiana crawfish beignet appetizer...

「Arrived with high expectations given the reviews and images and expectations were met. Location was ideal - close enough to the French Quarter to walk but also far enough away that we truly felt we were in a different part of the city. Nearby bars, restaurants, coffee shops. We walked to Cafe du Monde and it only took about 15 minutes; another day, we walked to Cochon Butcher in about 15 minutes the other direction, and that's about the same distance to the WWII museum. Atmosphere was restored...
