「The Cochrane Inn is run by a pair of wonderful sisters, Rica and Winky. I arrived at the Inn way ahead of the check-in time and was exhausted due to the longhaul flight. 「The El Moore is an absolutely beautiful place !! The history. The quality of the restoration. The midtown area close to museums, dining, downtown. Lovely clean room overlooking the front garden. 「This place was in a great location in downtown Detroit; VERY convenient to the airport bus (it picks up right across the street). The building was very quiet but the streets below got noisy with motorcycles later at night. My white noise app took care of that, though. 「Stayed here for the breezy concert from Ohio, drove all the way here. Complementary valet parking. Concert was at ford field they provided free shuttles to the stadium. Mind you an Uber is 59.99 for a six minute drive… THE ROOM IS WORTH IT. But when got back from the concert, blankets and pillow was obviously not cleaned. Went to the front, told them… it’s like 1:30am at this point, finally got new ones then spoke with the night manager he was extremely insensitive to us never once said sorry....
