Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was good, but I had little bit trouble in communicating with them. If they appoint some English-speaking staff, that will help foreign customers.

The location was excellent! Fujiqhighland was awful. Don’t recommend this until they fix the three hour lines.

Nice and clean hotel. Was worried about smaller mattress sizes from what I saw from other Japan hotels but this one was fine for 2 people and expected coming from Canada. Super close to a train/bus station, also provided a free shuttle to get around the common locations around Lake Kawaguchi. Can view Mount Fuji from our room.

The perfect hotel for anyone aiming to climb Mt.Fuji. This hotel is basically right in front of a bus station with a department store next door. Even though the hotel could use some updating, the great staff and location makes up for it. 👍

I liked that the hotel was in walking distance to Mt. Fuji Station, and the buses, that the hotel included breakfast and wi-fi, and the room, and bathroom, were both very spacious. The staff and service were welcoming and very hospitable. However, there were rust spots in the bathroom, which made it seem like it wasn’t clean, and the hotel is not located around a lot of restaurants, shopping places, or convenient stores. It was a lot of walking to those places.

Great Location, Great Value, Great Staff. Located a short 2 minute walk from Fujisan station, this hotel is decently convenient for the budget conscious traveler, as the Fujikyu line every 30min connects to FujiQ Highland as well as the tourist destination of Fuji Kawaguchiko station. There are also free buses for guests that travel to the same locations.

Guess it depends how much English the person you’re dealing with speaks. One young man was incredibly helpful in ordering a pizza for us. Another grunted us out of the breakfast room at exactly 9am. Another didn’t understand our complaints about the dryer (300¥ for an hour and small load still wasn’t dry). 10am checkout is aggressive and we asked for a few extra minutes to repack laundry and he just kept tapping the sign. We eventually got our point across as we got chased out around 10:13 with a bag of damp clothes and he did at least refund the 300¥. That laundry room has visible mold and we think our bathroom had at least one little spot too. Super convenient to the Fujisawa station and they provided excellent restaurant recommendations with a little local map. (Sakigake was outstanding!) Room was clean with a good shower, tiny TV (we weren’t there to watch), lots of power outlets and actually decent size bathtub.

Great hotel! The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was excellent. It's an easy walk to the train station, and a bus from the hotel takes you straight to FujiQ Highland. I'd stay here again for sure.

Almost a great experince.
The hotel staff was wonderful. The room was clean and the biggest room I've ever stayed in Japan. Everything was great. Except for one thing. The free shuttle really messed me up for one night. I was expecting to take the final shuttle back to the hotel on Sunday Night. I waited patiently for the 7pm shuttle to take me back, when it never showed up. I was confused as to why. Then i noticed a message underneath saying that the 7pm shuttle only runs on Fridays and Saturdays. Except, IT WAS ONLY IN JAPANESE. Please, have this message in other languages as well, so we wont be stranded wondering how to get home.

This is a great place to base yourself if staying in Fujiyoshida. The hotel is within five minutes easy walking of Fujisan (Mt. Fuji) station and the rooms are clean and very spacious. There are also two coin laundry machines in the lobby which came in very handy. There are multiple dining options in the vicinity and even Gekkoji and Shimoyoshida stations are within thirty minutes walking distance.

Hotel is near the train station. Free shuttle is provided for hotel guest. It will be better if shuttle is more frequent during peak period or if they can use a bigger bus.

Really close to the station and easy to commute to the other locations in the five lakes area. The mountain view from the hotel did not disappoint. Not many amenities/convenience stores nearby - so suggest getting some things before heading back to the hotel.
