Abbey Resort and Avani Spa

Abbey Resort and Avani Spa

8/10 Good
"The hotel is very well maintained and clean and staff are friendly, helpful and responsive. There was an issue with the water in our building and the hotel was great about communicating the issue via text and solving it quickly. The pools are also lovely although we didn't get to enjoy those due to the hours. I only have two suggestions - one is to install a recycling program on-site. I had a plastic bottle and asked where the recycling bins were and was told to put it in the regular trash. The second is to staff up the cafe during busy times or enable online ordering. There was only one person working both times I went and we had to wait awhile to get our orders. Otherwise, I highly recommend the hotel!"

Lodge Geneva National

Lodge Geneva National

10/10 Excellent
"The room was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was big with a real shower (no tub). Only complaint was we arrived early (around 11:40 am) and was told room was not ready and was guaranteed to be ready at 4:00 pm. They were supposed to text us when it was ready but never received such text. Actual check in at 5;00 pm was slow due to only 1 clerk working."

"Enjoyed our stay and our room location overlooking the lake with a private balcony. Bed was super comfy, but not so much with the oversized pillows. Climate control was excellent, yet lacked any hot water our first morning. Place is dated, but nice."
