「This was a great place to stay. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The maid did not make our beds one morning and just piled the towels on the counter. That was not a big deal, but still. Need more help maybe? I did see one bug in the bathroom. If I saw another one, I would have called. The room itself was good. The bathroom needed to be updated. Kind of run down. The access to the beach was great. Overall we would possibly stay there again. Price was decent. 」

「We loved the room; it was ocean view and had a nice balcony on the 4th floor. It took me about 4 coffee pods to figure out how to work the coffee maker; I asked the front desk and they said 'it's just like a Keurig' .... which I do not own. Coffee is very important to me! I suggest having a postcard with instructions for use on the in room coffee maker. The toilet was very loose from the floor and sounded like it would take off every time we used it. We took the $15 credit for foregoing...

「This was one of our best stays anywhere in the US. The owners have put a lot of love and care in every room ( which has a personality of its own). The owners cooked Breakfast for us that was delicious and also respectful of our dietary preferences. They have plenty of towels available. And in case the above did not convey it, it blows the experience in any other hotel (e.g. Marriott) out of the water. 」

「Our previous hotel experience in Daytona ended abruptly, and left my wife and I in a bind. The Flamingo Inn and its staff saved our vacation. We were welcomed with a tour and one of the most hospitable people, Nellie, I've ever met. The rooms are newly renovated, and the place is immaculate. The view from the pool is great, and the vibe is very cute and quiet. We will definitely be back. A hidden gem.」
