「St Marys Gate Inn looked extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming in the photo's online. Believe me when I say, it is much much more when you arrive. Welcomed by Lola on arrival (we were much earlier than expected) we were shown a table for Sunday lunch straight away (Food is excellent both flavours and presentation). The room was exceptional, huge main area, immaculate bathroom, tea and separate coffee facilities in the room, two huge windows. Bed was very comfortable, just a very relaxing...

「Hickstead hotel is very welcoming and a home from home. All the double rooms are extra spacious compared to peer hotels, with the added benefit of dining table and business desk…ideal for business travellers. Luxurious and comfortable King size beds! Highly recommended.」

「This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place.」

「It is next to a busy road but I didn’t hear it during the night. It is a very convenient short walk into town or to the castle or station. Breakfast was well served and tasty. Overall a very good experience.」

「great overnight location hotel for stayover Gatwick (would also consider staying if touring Sussex) breakfast, dinner, lunch pub menu excellent easy. well appointed fitness room was a plus. Front desk staff (Timothy) responded immediately when Toilet flushed continuously (he took care of it and compted us a couple in the pub without our knowing (very nice and professional of him - thank you!). Liked our short stay at the the Radisson Red Gatwick - do recommend)」
