「The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,, The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.」

「Nicely renovated art, deco style old hotel. The lobby was a little sparse, but I wasn’t really spending my time there anyway. Conveniently located right downtown and walking distance to some restaurants. The free parking available behind the hotel was wonderful!」

「This is a beautiful property with a lot to offer. Great lake views, clean/safe area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Cove restaurant had some good food, a great bar area. Highly recommend.」

「The entire facility needs a good & thorough cleaning and much needed and long past overdue maintenance. The service staff was surly and rude and restaurant staff equally so. The "continental breakfast" meager and limited. We have had better breakfasts at a Hampton Inn and theirs is weak. All in all the price was way out of line with what we received. We will never return to this place and will make certain that all of our friends are informed.」

「Nice setting. Just be aware if you get one of the double bed rooms the sleeping area is very small. It’s an older motel, and the walls are thin. On the plus side, the property is well maintained and right on the lake. The fire pit is great. Other rooms may be bigger, and they offer glamping. Coffee and muffins in the morning are good. If you want a bigger breakfast you will have to go elsewhere.」

「Spa is amazing with excellent staff. Would highly recommend everyone visit and have a relaxing day at the spa. However, the restaurants connected with the hotel are okay at best. The fine dining restaurant was okay & had decent food, yet nothing wowed me it really missed the mark for excellent food at a fine dining restaurant. The pub restaurant was good, anything with brisket is excellent but again some of the other choices are missing components that could make the food really good. I had the...
