「Hotel is going through an ownership transition. I asked for a quiet room and was placed in a very quiet corner of the hotel. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. Some areas looked tired, but as the hotel has recently changed ownership, I'll let that slide. Service was very good. Keep up the good work 」

「So original, and nice. My best sleep ever. and superb breakfast, made special for you.. Definitely coming back. Thought i couldn't checkin after kl.22.00 But i was 45 min late so they left a key for my room.. = Good service.. BUT there was no info on Hotels about checkin and out times.」

「Really nice and relaxing hotel in beautiful surroundings. It was clean and staff were friendly. Pricey drinks and a hard bed but bearable for 1 night.」

「Really friendly, considerate and welcoming hosts. Hotel is really clean and quiet too. Nice breakfast and the fresh raspberries were lovely -as was the post breakfast free homemade banana muffin! Hotel is not far from the beech. I would definitely stay there again - top stuff.」

「It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!」
