"From reading reviews, I was expecting the rooms to feel a little dated. Our room seemed to have been recently renovated. We had two Queen beds and a sitting room. it was very comfortable. Reviews that I had read mentioned that the HVAC may not be to our liking. Our first few hours, we were warm. Then, I was reading the information sheet provided at check-in and it stated that we needed to set the thermostat somewhere between 68-72 or it would set back to the default. We set it to 68 and we were very comfortable... we like to be cold when we sleep. There was a nice ceiling fan in the sitting room. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. It is a beautiful campus. I will stay again when we visit the area."

"The Hot Tub was not working, which was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Would be nice to have known, prior to booking. Also, the pool was suppose to be heated, but was quite cold too. So, no luck on the water amenities. The employees all were very vague on the time it was going to be fixed. Giving you hope that it may happen that day. When we did get to the pool area, the hot tub was taped off, AND it was dirty and had large spiders in it… The room booked had a nice fireplace option, and the breakfast was nice. (Wanted to give some good feedback too.) When checking in, I was told that we would not be interrupted by the Carbon Monoxide detector checks, b/c they would happen after we checked out. Oh, what did we get in the morning, a knock on the door, even though we had do not disturb, for a carbon monoxide check. UGH. Communication is a key part of customer service. All of this could have been avoided if the right communication would have happened. 2nd time I stayed here, and unfortunately, will probably be the last. Very Dissapointing Homewood!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a pretty frustrating experience overall. There were several basic amenities that I expected but were not provided—no complimentary breakfast and no WiFi included, which was disappointing. The room itself was uncomfortably hot, and it was difficult to regulate the temperature. On top of that, the hotel seemed overwhelmed due to multiple events happening at the same time, which made the entire property feel chaotic and disorganized. Parking was one of the biggest issues. There was no complimentary parking, and I was charged $25 per car for two vehicles. I was then told I couldn’t pay for a third car (my sister-in-law’s) due to a two-car limit per room. However, the parking gate wasn’t functioning properly, so other guests were coming and going without paying. That made it especially frustrating to have paid around $50 while others parked for free due to system issues. Additionally, the condition of the room and property raised concerns. The bedding was torn, and the lighting fixtures appeared outdated with exposed or worn wiring, which honestly felt unsafe. The hallways were also noticeably dirty. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, especially for the cost. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and considers making improvements—or offering some form of compensation for the experience."
