「We thought the actual view from the hotel was even better than the pictures. We heard coocoo birds and various wildlife when we out walking about. The staff was exceptionally kind and could speak English perfectly. We ate dinner one evening and had the eggplant parmigiana, which rivaled the best we had in Italy. The beach club is a separate property, 5 min drive away, old.. not well maintained and at an extra cost with an advanced reservation required. The hotel itself is clean and rooms are new. 「I had a very disappointing stay at Best Western Hotel Bellevue Au Lac. The room was nothing like the photos on the website — outdated, worn, and clearly misrepresented. The facilities are old and poorly maintained. Even worse, we experienced discrimination from staff at breakfast. We queued before another couple, but the waiter ignored us and then claimed there were no indoor tables, forcing us into a cold, semi-outdoor area. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on .
