「We stayed one night. The inn is perched up right on the edge of the moors with some stunning views. It is a 2 min walk down the hill to the beautiful hamlet or up the very steep hill to the ruins of the old iron ore furnaces. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was fantastic we would book again. 」

「Had a wonderful stay at a wonderful pub. Location is perfect and character of the pub is amazing. Lovely locally brewed beer and great food. Bad timing on our part that the brewery was closed so couldn't do the tour but gives u great excuse to go back. 」

「Wonderful stay, definitely recommend this hidden gem. The room was spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was huge plenty of room for 2, truly relaxing. The shower was perfect. Our room had an outdoor seating area which was perfect to sit out with wine and nibbles. An ice machine was available so you could fill your own ice bucket, there was a wine chiller in the room which was useful. Everything in this place was brilliant making for a peaceful, laid back luxury break.」

「Great place, made such a change from regular hotels with personal touches. Room was a great size & included a sofa & small table/chairs. The small tea/coffee station with some breakfast options included in the room was the bit the bowled me over… a treat at 6am, cereal & fruit, new milk & yogurt, plus proper coffee bags, even a tray to carry it to the table. I did eat downstairs within the restaurant on the 1st night which was fab… calzone pizza special & cookie dough special were both tasty &...

「This property is very well maintained and far better than many chain hotels like Holiday Inn or Premier Inn. The room had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy, clean, and well-equipped place to stay!」
