「The hotel is modern and clean. The air con was not working in our room and beung unable to open the windows, the room was very hot. I was unable to ring reception to report the issue becase the phone in the toom was not working either, so I had to use my mobile to ring in externally. The staff offered to try to re set the aircon from reception but this did not work. Half an hour later and after a further phonecall, a member of staff bought a stand alone fan to the room. A very disappointing...

Only thing I would suggest is that the £13 for breakfast for the continental was a bit high especially for my dad as he only had a bowl of cereal, there was a good selection though. Maybe two separate prices as the full English was definitely worth the money.」

On first floor (where we stayed) the fire doors were very narrow and stiff so wheelchair access would be difficult but doors to rooms were okay. 「Stayed here for 3 nights on this trip. A very comfortable stay with exceptional service. The air conditioner in the room stopped functioning, but the staff quickly took care of the matter as soon as we reported it and compensated us with many free drink vouchers; the manager got soaked in the process of fixing the air conditioning but continued to apologise to us for the inconvenience. The staff are very welcoming, and the environment is very relaxing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone...
