We had our dog and our room was the furthers away from the main entrance or garden, so would have been better if we was a bit closer. breakfast was really good and the bar was well stocked and a great view from the bay window. would defiantly stay again.」

「The staff was great, but the property needs some work. Our “bay view” was covered by scaffolding and absolutely filthy windows. Carpets were really shabby and the floorboards all creaked and were lumpy. 」

Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. 「The only downside to this hotel is the fact that it at the top of a hill from Teignmouth. A big climb if you are travelling by train. Other than that he hotel itself was well maintained. The rooms comfy. Widescreen Tv and free wi fi. The cooked breakfasts were good and if there was anything they didn't have, you could always ask for it. Overall, a very good short holiday.
