"Sound carries easily from the hallways into the rooms, so your experience will depend somewhat on your fellow travelers. Even one night owl can wake the whole house. The breakfast is quite good, with several nice options. The neighborhood seems safe--it's mainly residential, and probably all Harvard folks. I was worried about sharing a bathroom, but it always seemed clean. Either the other guests were very tidy or the staff were cleaning frequently through the day."

"Overall nice stay in the showboat room. Couple things though to mention include that the heat thermostat did not seem to work. We like it a little warmer so we turned it up a bit but the temperature did not change in the room and nor did we hear the heat kick on at all during our stay. It wasn't cold, but it wasn't ideal either -also they only give you a very thin quilt type blanket which during the winter isn't quite enough for me. You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street.
