「Quiet hotel, Magnificent studio nr. 308. (see pictures) Breakfast is good enough with diverse options like fresh fruit, omelet, yoghurt etc. Very good and customer friendly staff, Clean rooms. Only comment: bed matrasses were a little bit to firm. 」

「The hotel was a delightful experience in every way. We wanted to avoid being in the historical district of Funchal which is full of crowds, noise and the multiple cruiseliners. The hotel is an comfortable 20 min walk up an easy hill and is an oasis in the city: exquisite landscaping and gardens and sublime view. Hotel is spotlessly clean and staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.」

「Beautifully furnished boutique hotel with very helpful staff. Rooms are well maintained and kept clean. The hotel restaurant does some great menu items so worth a visit. Breakfast buffets are fine but probably not to everyone's tastes. Location is next to the cathedral so ideal for a city stay with a difference - Funchal is a super place to visit and we hit the Xmas illumination that is world famous.」
