"We had a river view and it was absolutely stunning, it’s only a tiny balcony or some rooms just a railing at an open door but the view is amazing. The hotel was clean and stylish with a coffee/tea machine in reception. The buffet breakfast was beautiful, everything was presented great. I would totally recommend this hotel and hope to be back one day. "

"New Building with extremely poorly designed rooms. Hot water is not reliable, had to take 2 cold showers. Staff had no explanation as to why there was no hot water. Bathroom had a horrible setup, non shower doors or walls of any sort. No place to set anything. Everything gets wet when using the shower. The floor floods and water pores out of the bathroom into the room. Property is extremely understaffed. Parking lot has few parking spots. Hotel is next to a Police Station of some sort and parking area full of impounded vehicles. Not a very safe looking area to walk around after dark. "

"Fourth time we have stayed there over the years, it is convenient for the bridge across to Bilbao port and offers a good range of local ameities nearby providing you can find somewhere convenient to park. We could not get the air con / fan working that evening. They have upgraded the rooms compared to the previous visits and the picture accurately shows the view we had. The improvement work continues and IT IS NO ANSWER TO SAY IN SPAIN BUILDERS ARE ALLOWED TO START AS EARLY AS 8:00 WHEN WORKING IN A BUILDING. IT IS A HOTEL - GUESTS MIGHT LIKE TO SLEEP IN, THAT'S OFTEN WHAT THEY PAY FOR - IF THE HOTEL CANNOT CONTROL THE BUILDER'S START TIME (UNTIL SAY AT LEAST 9 WITH WARNING) PERHAPS THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE / PERHAPS CHANGE PROFESSIONS, AS THEY CLEARLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF RUNNING AS A HOTEL OR CLOSE PROPERLY FOR RENNOVATIONS. My suggestion that such an early start (on a Saturday morning) was not really what you'd expect from a professional hotelier was just met (from morning staff) with a shrug of shoulders. it's Spanish rules! Very welcoming Breakfast good, albeit with just one member of staff there, to check people in and find initial coffee plus attend to eberything else there are understandably longer waits then should be the case for some of the food replenishments to come out. "Very disappointed! Hotel advertised having a restaurant and cafeteria, neither of which were open! Hotel also advertised having wine and champagne available but were told at reception that only food and drink available was from a vending machine. As there were no bars or restaurants nearby in this industrial port area, we ended up with a packet sandwich from the vending machine! For info, it was a Friday night stay in June. "
