"New Building with extremely poorly designed rooms. Hot water is not reliable, had to take 2 cold showers. Staff had no explanation as to why there was no hot water. Bathroom had a horrible setup, non shower doors or walls of any sort. No place to set anything. Everything gets wet when using the shower. The floor floods and water pores out of the bathroom into the room. Property is extremely understaffed. Parking lot has few parking spots. Hotel is next to a Police Station of some sort and parking area full of impounded vehicles. Not a very safe looking area to walk around after dark. "

"Hotel beautiful and the staff very friendly. Our room with the sea view was unexpected but absolutely amazing. The only thing was that there no facilities to make tea and coffee in the room. There was a vending machine in the lobby which we were advised was free to use but unfortunately it was out of order for the entire time of our trip."

"Fourth time we have stayed there over the years, it is convenient for the bridge across to Bilbao port and offers a good range of local ameities nearby providing you can find somewhere convenient to park. We could not get the air con / fan working that evening. They have upgraded the rooms compared to the previous visits and the picture accurately shows the view we had. The improvement work continues and IT IS NO ANSWER TO SAY IN SPAIN BUILDERS ARE ALLOWED TO START AS EARLY AS 8:00 WHEN WORKING IN A BUILDING. IT IS A HOTEL - GUESTS MIGHT LIKE TO SLEEP IN, THAT'S OFTEN WHAT THEY PAY FOR - IF THE HOTEL CANNOT CONTROL THE BUILDER'S START TIME (UNTIL SAY AT LEAST 9 WITH WARNING) PERHAPS THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE / PERHAPS CHANGE PROFESSIONS, AS THEY CLEARLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BASICS OF RUNNING AS A HOTEL OR CLOSE PROPERLY FOR RENNOVATIONS. Hotel also advertised having wine and champagne available but were told at reception that only food and drink available was from a vending machine. As there were no bars or restaurants nearby in this industrial port area, we ended up with a packet sandwich from the vending machine! For info, it was a Friday night stay in June. "
