"Loved my stay at this hotel! The location was perfect — conveniently located near the airport, which made transportation incredibly easy, especially with the free shuttle service offered by the hotel. The restaurant was excellent, and I truly enjoyed the food and overall dining experience. The pool was another great feature that added to the relaxing atmosphere of the stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional staff. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions that came up. There's not many food options around the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again!"

"El hotel en general está bien y cumple para una estadía corta, aunque se nota que es una propiedad con varios años y que podría beneficiarse de una renovación en algunas áreas. El proceso de check-in fue bastante lento; tuvimos que esperar más de lo esperado a pesar de que había dos personas en recepción y únicamente una estaba atendiendo. En recepción ofrecen agua y aparentemente algún tipo de jugo como cortesía, aunque durante nuestra llegada el dispensador de jugo estaba vacío. Antes de llegar solicité específicamente una cama king y me confirmaron que estaría disponible, sin embargo al hacer el check-in nos asignaron una habitación con cama queen, lo cual fue un poco decepcionante. El aire acondicionado funciona, aunque no enfría completamente, especialmente si se busca una temperatura realmente fresca. También recomendaría instalar cortinas tipo blackout, ya que durante la noche entra bastante luz desde los pasillos, afectando el descanso. El desayuno fue correcto, aunque con muy pocas opciones disponibles. Otro punto a mejorar definitivamente es el internet, ya que fue bastante lento y en varios momentos dejó de funcionar. En general, la experiencia fue aceptable, pero hay varios detalles operativos y de mantenimiento que podrían mejorar significativamente la experiencia del huésped"

"No tea in the rooms.no microwave..check in and check out time in 3pm check out time 10.. additional extra charge for one person.When you order a room for one Person with one bed,Why you have to pay for your companion?"

"They served the same food 3 days in a row! Breakfast, lunch and dinner… The ac didn’t work in the room for the first 2 nights. I had to get moved to another room When I booked it said night clubs , seafood nights we never had any of it! The swim up bar closed every day at 6pm This was not an all inclusive hotel!!!! "

"Room needed updates; request for water and beer in room needed to be requested daily, which we sometimes never got water for day; ac unit broke twice- no ac to sleep; pool bar ran out of drinks on Sunday; flies at pool bar was overwhelming; toilet clogged first day there; food was below average; staff was great- welcoming and friendly. Beach was great- no rush to grab chairs.. if looking to hub to travel Costa Rica- this is place; if looking for pampering vacation- find somewhere else."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Bosque Del Mar. Our Oceanfront room was wonderful with all the amenities needed--large room, separate sitting area and lovely balcony to view Playa Hermosa. The staff were also very accommodating. Our only complaint is that the beach seating is removed each day between 6 and 7pm. We would have appreciated the opportunity to continue to enjoy the beach with a place to sit in the evening. One suggestion: As there is no gift shop in the hotel or nearby, it would be helpful to have some incidentals for purchase when travelers forget to bring items from home; such as, sun screen and bug spray."
