"The check-in process was confusing and poorly managed. Despite the hotel listing stating that "Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival," this was not the case. I also received several unprofessional requests for payment information via message; as a security precaution, I do not share sensitive financial data through unverified channels. While the property is well-located and easy to find, the room quality was unacceptable: Hygiene: The floors were sticky in several spots. Essentials: The room was not stocked with toilet paper. Security: Most concerningly, the room door did not lock. I was forced to carry all my valuables with me every time I left the room. To conclude my stay, I left a hat in the room and called ahead to arrange a pickup. When I arrived, nothing had been coordinated. After waiting 20 minutes for staff to contact maintenance, I was told the item could not be found. Due to the lack of basic security and poor communication, I cannot recommend this stay. Overall: 1 out of 5."

"We had a really great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we needed anything. They made check-in and the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. The pool was definitely one of the highlights — clean, relaxing, and a perfect place to unwind. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service, and I would gladly stay here again."

"This is a unique hotel, decorated creatively in a Moroccan theme. Beautiful artwork in all the common areas and in our room. Take note that there are some interior rooms that have no windows. We opted to upgrade to a room with windows and a balcony, and it was quite spacious and comfortable. It didn’t cost that much to upgrade and it was well well worth it. On the roof, there are stone bathtubs that guests can fill with water and take in the views of the city while cooling off in the tubs. It seems to always be breezy up there and it’s a great escape from the heat. There are shady areas if you want to get out the sun or you can sunbathe there. It is quite unique and a treat in the day or evening. Close to all the Old San Juan historic sites and restaurants "

"Great little boutique hotel right in old San Juan. We had a very busy check-in time so the staff for fairly rushed to get everyone checked in and get rooms ready however they have a great little bar right in the lobby to make you nice and comfy while you wait. You're served by the staff whatever you need, they have it right there. You can tell they stay very busy Cruise traffic for the overnighters and lots of guests coming in to enjoy our San Juan. The suggestions I would make when you have such a quick turnaround is sweep and mop the room floors. It makes a difference, especially in the bathroom and around your bed standing up on a floor with dirt and debris after you've had a restful night sleep not fun. Otherwise it was a great stay I will return."

"Arrived after hours due to delay in flight but had been assured that was not a problem. Waited an hour on the street in the wee morning hours to be let into the hotel. Once in, they couldn't run my card in this building but was going to run it at another location. Then apparently, they dont take Amex even though we were not told and when they tried to run the card later, it wouldnt go through. Understandably, they need paid for us staying. I get it. But it was 6:30am before we got to our room. We were exhausted. If they didnt take Amex the check in staff should have said and we couldve provided another card immediately. Instead, they started hounding us. It was your mistake, you can't run a card in that particular hotel, you didnt know you didnt take Amex, it was 6:30am, we were exhausted. How about offering to come to us? Despite the check in problem, the hotel was nice and clean; the beds slept well and bathroom shower had nice water pressure. I would stay there again."
