「Such good value for money. Started a new trend last year, to come over Christmas time, attended again this year, will contiue this for the years to come. Host was lovely, food and drinks were good. 」

「Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. 」

「Perfect Room for a Special Occasion The room was perfectly clean and ideal for a special occasion. Slippers and a dressing gown were provided, along with lovely, beautifully scented toiletries. The wardrobe was spacious and easily accommodated all our belongings for the weekend. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a King Size Bed and balcony, which was perfect for sitting outside in the crisp January weather with a nice cup of tea. 「We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
