"The breakfast was good enough depending on your choice, the evening meal In the restaurant wasn't what we expected and several people sent it back, the menu doesn't change from night to night, and the thing I noticed in the hotel trophy was a good food trophy from 2001, other wise were happy with our stay"

"Room was really dirty, pillow had black marks that looked like someone had stood on them, like black foot prints, Big piece of glass on the side table that came loose, we had to move it as travlleing with a toddler is was so dangerous. Everything was covered in dirt. Radiator dident come on at all. Room smelt really bad. Wouldent stay again. "

"Pet charge was £25 with treats water bottle poo bags and water dish near to city centre & opposite train station plenty shops and bars around hotel bar was expensive "

"Gave a good impression on arrival, receptionist friendly and efficient. Room was good size, facilities good, comfortable bed for a good sleep. Bedroom needs some updating to give power/USB near bed."

"Excellent breakfast, fresh hot and cold food with great choice of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Nice cozy bar. Excellent location for as we like to be near tourist attractions, restaurants and bars (all were 4-10 min walk from hotel) but off the main bit so it was quiet at the hotel. Close to railway also. "
