Unique and fun hotel, room had nice decor, only a couple of minor things like one of the water glasses was definitely not clean and there were a couple of stains on the bedsheet. 50% off Pepper street car parking also really good!

It is the quirkiest hotel I have stayed in the decor is amazing a hidden surprise round every corner it’s a case of Alice in Wonderland meets Roald Dahal. What a delightful hotel - the staff were incredible, welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with our booking, which was no fault of the hotel, but they proposed a great solution, and were ever so accommodating. The hotel itself is great - quirky and original, fantastic "secret garden" lots of lovely little nooks and crannies to eat and drink, very comfortable and well appointed rooms and a great location. We also ate in the restaurant which was also very good. Can't recommend enough for your next stay in Chester.

Nice looking hotel with a quirky feature, deco is nice so the garden area, BUT! Important bit which is the mattress and pillows are so bad. Mattress is too soft and could hit the floor if you sit on the edge. Pillows are lumpy, you know I mean by lumpy. Breakfast was nice, huge breakfast

Lovely hotel, very bougie, loved the room, we stayed in the Queen Mary’s loft room, having the double bath was really unique! Staff were very polite and helpful. Negatives, the hotel was cashless and the kitchen was closed so we went out to eat however there is so much choice in the city centre.
