「Room was clean and spacious, staff friendly. I booked for 2 nights but only stayed one. This was during a heat wave, the air-conditioning was not working and windows did not open fully. No fans offered and the bed had a medium weight duvet and nothing lighter. I left early because it was impossible to sleep. I understand the aircon has been broken for some time」

「Our room was clean and cool as our visit was during the heatwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially agreeing to transport us in the golf buggy as our room was a few minutes walk from the main reception. Breakfast was very delicious was a fair variety of items to choose from. Parking is fair but could become tight if there is a big event on. The grounds are well kept and encouraging to take a wander around. I totally enjoyed my stay, so thank you to the wonderful staff.」

「There were build works outside by terrace overlooking lake with cement mixer and angle grinder cutting stone most of the day the Saturday I was there . Not the best idea with patrons sitting there by temporary plastic tape eating and drinking . Perhaps a fencing of sorts to obscure the works ?」
