「Poor service, outdated room and terrible breakfast.」

「Clean, affordable, and cozy motel that's great for short or long stays. Our room was a studio with a full kitchen (full sized refrigerator and a stove)! The room was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We did not have a single issue during our 2 night stay. And the (very clean) hot tub is open 24/7 as long as you're quiet at night. It's a 15 min walk to Riverside Park and the downtown area. There is road construction in front of the motel at the time of this review,...

「Had issues with the lock mechanism, which did get prompt remote response, but the door continued to misbehave. Heat provided by plug-in space heater. Noisy from poorly sealed A/C unit. Bed comfy, pillows OK. Fridge froze my stuff. Keurig was OK, but only 2 rounds of coffee for 3 night stay. No designated place to hang clothes or set a bag, besides the table. TV/programming was non-functional, not a big deal personally. Solid for price.」

「Nice, friendly staff mostly doing the best they can with a property that is way past its prime. The bad: loose and badly cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, robe hook falling off from the wall, grounds mostly covered in weeds, requested towels on Friday and finally gave up Saturday night and went and got them ourselves, needed our key cards replaced almost every day. The good: comfortable bed, shower looked like it was newly redone, breakfast buffet was basic but clean and well stocked by a...

「The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.」

「Very nice rooms looked newly renovated」

「Great hosts. Delicious breakfast. Animals are beautiful and fun! Wonderful little relaxing getaway.」

「It was a great place it’s an old hotel which makes people say it’s not but I enjoyed it very much. I do plan to stay there more in the future.」

「The advertising photo of the nice cabin is not the cabin we got and booking was misleading. No AC, no water, no bathroom, just the cabin and two outlets. The advertising is misleading as there was no coffee. The coffee house pictured is not open. The people were very nice, it was quiet and it looks like they are really trying to do some nice improvements. The shared shower house and bathrooms are very nice, just a long walk in the middle of the night. It was very nice for having our dog along...

「What a lovely experience. We booked when we were only about 3 hours away, and were able to immediately contact the host for access info. Beautiful, comfortable place with a very friendly host. We will definitely return.」
