「Overall, the hotel's environment and facilities and staff are good, but two things make me uneasy. Firstly, the bed is wrinkled, which gives the impression that someone has slept on it before, although the quilt looks new. Secondly, the bottom of the swimming pool appears dirty, making it impossible to determine whether the water is clean or dirty.」

「The room was clean, the staff friendly, the breakfast perfect for getting us to the slopes early. On all 3 days we skied, we were filled with oatmeal, boiled eggs, fruit and hot tea. It was great. One day we also had pear halves with cherries inside -- a nod to the old days. A quick walk across the parking lot got us to the ski shuttle. 「We were here for a wedding and every event (including the reception in the Public House) was within two blocks. This made our trip so easy. And by the way I did not know any of the event sites when I booked our stay at the Public House. The only place I would stay should I find myself in Crested Butte again.」

「Absolutely the best value in Aspen. Right next to the shuttles and about 6 minutes walk to town. Clean room good breakfast fantastic staff. All at the most reasonable price in Aspen. Like others the hot water took a long time. But it’s no big deal. Just let it run a bit first. The bathroom is a little dated but again no big deal. Definitely recommend 」
