「I didn’t know what to expect when staying at a hotel with a historic designation, but I was pleasantly surprised. The aesthetic and visuals of the hotel from when it was more relevant are preserved; it feels like it was made to be a time capsule of sorts for everything except for the important modern updates (plumbing, flat screen TVs in rooms, etc.). 「Loved the place, simple, older Florida, and worth every penny. Lovely breakfast, the team looking after place care and are kind. Views are spectacular. Some continued repairs from hurricane, dodnt effect stay and while poer is damaged, just walk around the marina for equally excellent views of bay. Definitely revisit if back on flirida.」

「The room we got is facing the street. Very NOISY! Room stinks! The detergent hasn’t been washed up. I was choking and coughing at night! The fire alarms suddenly started to beep every 20-30 seconds. Based on my experience, the battery was gone. And when I call the front dest, they sent a stuff member to my room and just removed the fire alarm! Is that proper?」
