"We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean."

"Hotel very clean , when staff were around they were helpful, Location is good for views and although a bus stop fairly close it’s a good 15 min walk to pubs/ restaurants shops"

What a lovely stay. Our room had a really nice view. Loved watching the horse tram go by. Really great hot breakfast with a variety of options. The hosts were lovely and we had a great time. Would definitely stay here again.

Best hotel on the Promenade.
Elegant, dark wood, beautiful artwork.
Clean rooms. Nice restaurant and bar.
Claire, Tim & Tony run a top notch hotel. Love it. ❤️
Jack is an ace in the bar and restaurant 👌.
Only slight 'complaint' I can imagine is, They should offer better pillows or different types, goose or foam would've been better than current pillows.
Would highly recommend.

The HQ restaurant was exceptional. They had a special TT menu, and I can tell you it was prepared with Michelin style attention
The staff made our stay really great, with a special acknowledgment to Phil and the Chef
The hotel was historic, and historically old. But still grateful for the stay while at TT.

The Empress hotel was perfect for a home location to explore the Isle of Man! Walkable to the buses, close to pubs and an exception English breakfast each morning!

We chose this hotel because it was cheap and in a great location. We didn't expect much by way of luxury, and got what we expected. When we arrived to check in there was no staff member to be found, the courtesy phone didn't work, and the pay phone was broken. Eventually someone showed up and gave us keys. The room was small and the bed was made of rocks, but the view of the ocean was amazing and the tiny wedge shaped bathroom was the cutest. The Chinese restaurant downstairs serves delicious...

This is nice hotel with hospitable personnel. The room was impeccable. The shower was especially very nice. Be aware the elevator does not go all the way up to the Amelia suite, where we stayed. Easy check in at the coffee bakery shop.

What a phenomenal stay—more than I could’ve ever hoped for given the short notice to book and the impromptu nature of our stay. One side facing Castle Rushen and the other facing the ocean, I’m still blown away we got to stay here for a few days.
