"Given that I already knew this hotel was average before I booked, I will be fair by starting with 5 stars. Upon entering the room to rest from a long trip, we immediately noticed the AC unit was agonizing. Instead of changing our room, the staff decided to replace the unit while we were there. The repairman was very rude to us. (minus one star) Both our room keys were deactivated before checkout day, and we were locked out. We called the front desk, and they blamed it on us. (minus one star) The room does not have a soaking bathtub as described and has no water stop, which prevents us from filling the tub. We asked for a plug, and they said they don't have any "because guests keep stealing them." (minus one star) Upon request, an intrusive maintenance person who brought two pillows wanted to enter the room, place the pillows on the bed, and ask us about our religion. (minus one star) The Wi-Fi keeps timing out. Whenever we try to use it, we have to register again. A constant, annoying noise in the bathroom is apparently due to the roof fan directly above, the repairman said. The bathroom is very small, so the floor rug interferes with the door, which has no bottom clearance. The bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom. Other people in the room would be disturbed by the light when it was switched on at night. Noisy fridge. We had to turn it off at night. Average breakfast. "

"DON'T STAY HERE!!! We booked this hotel for 2 nights as the photos looked very nice. But, when we arrived the area was ugly and looked run down and definitely not a place we would want to be outside at night. The pool was in a corner of the ugly parking lot and the water was brown and filled with dirt. We went inside, and there was no one there. No staff, no one. We could walk right in, enter areas of the hotel and no one was in sight. Definitely not safe! We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to go to another hotel. We tried to get a refund due to severe misrepresentation of the hotel, but they declined. I would absolutely recommend everyone to STAY AWAY from this hotel!!!"

"Always a great stay! I'm here often to visit my daughter, who attends SCAD. The drive to the university is quick and easy. We also like the WOW wings across the street; they have really great Chicken Phillies. The hot tub and the pool are always functioning, the happy hour and the breakfast are nice touches as well. This is a pet friendly hotel so that's the only caution I would extend. It has never been a problem but this last stay our initial room assignment smelled of dog pee. The staff were super accommodating though and moved us immediately. "

"We really enjoyed staying at Spark Hilton for a night, the bed was so comfortable that we slept through breakfast! So we aren’t sure what they had but I guess you could draw your own conclusions since it was from Hilton. Also the property was clean and well maintained. "

"Breakfast was súper delicious. Very great staff and super friendly. And yes on weekends they serve live omelettes. And the location of the property is great. Overall it was nice and easy stay and i would definetly stay again. "
