"This was the first time my husband & I stayed at The American Hotel, we've stayed at plenty of Hilton Hotels in the past. From the moment we parked our car with Valet to the moment we checked out we were pleasantly surprised with ALL the staff!! The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown is a very clean and nicely designed hotel. When we were looking for food after checking in, the front desk staff suggested we try the wings and fries at the restaurant inside the Hotel, which turned out to be a hit!! We choose this Hotel because it is walking distance to the State Farm Arena where we were attending an event. Walking there we noticed lots of things to do. I didn't get everyone's name but at some point I did interact with Renee who just happened to give me a card with her name. Thanks Renee and Team you guys were great and very helpful. "Great rooms quiet, and location. Parking rates in the suburbs are ridiculous and more cable channels for the rates shouldn't be a problem."
