Hyatt Place Washington DC/Georgetown/West End
10/10 Excellent
"We needed a one night reservation and this location was perfect for our needs. The hotel was very clean and in a safe part of the city. Transportation and restaurants were in walking distance.
A helpful hint regarding parking. We chose not to utilize the $60 valet parking and instead chose the public garage next to the hotel entrance. That garage was safe, well lit, and cost $40 for our approximately 24 hour stay. Would recommend parking in that garage. "
"This is a unique, old style hotel which was pretty cool. The staff was friendly. We just slept there so we didn’t use any amenities. Only complaint was the narrow shower with a shower curtain that kept billowing inward. Perfect location for our trip to GW. "
"We were a party of 9 and had 3 rooms and were all very pleased. The only down side was that we asked for rooms close to each other and they could not provide that, even though we asked a couple days in advanced. Such a large hotel could have at least put us on the same side and probably the same floor. Other than that the staff was kind, hotel was very clean and beautiful. We loved it and would definitely stay again next time we visit. "
