AMAZING experience! the Coral Reef is well worth it! There was so much to do!

Loved it! Would definitely go back! We also took advantage of the SeaWorld tickets included so the price was much more reasonable than we first realized. Just a warning, the water in the dolphin and reef areas is kept chilly for the comfort of the animals. Other water areas are warmer. We visited with air temps in the 90s but our 6 year old was cold in the dolphin and reef areas while in the water (even in his wetsuit). Apparently, if you go on milder days, those areas feel warmer because there is not as much of a difference in temperature between the air and water. The adults were fine after getting used to the water. I'm not a fan of cold water so I wore a wet suit for the reef and dolphin areas and then changed into a vest for the freshwater areas. That worked well for me. The water areas in the freshwater side of the park stayed open 30 min longer than the reef area. We had been told that water areas stayed open until 5:30, so we headed to the reef for one last swim there at 4:45 and then it closed at 5pm. So we booked it back over to the freshwater area for a few more minutes. We would have planned the afternoon differently had we known. Note to families with kids: it takes a little while to get wetsuits, put them on, use sunscreen (which is provided) and put your belongings in lockers, so plan accordingly. We arrived at the park at 8am and were very glad we did. If you can get there even earlier, I would suggest it.

This place is awsome. Worth every penny. Breakfast and lunch included with all the drinks and snacks you can eat. The under sea adventure and swim with the dolphins was more than we could ever expect. Beautiful fish and stingrays everywhere. So many adventures to do. The cabanas were beautiful and had a refrigerators stocked with sodas, beer, wine, fruit juices or anything you want to drink plus a treasure chest full of snacks. We brag to all who will listen about our adventure.

The food lines are a little long. Don't wait until you are hungry. But other than that, Discovery Cove was amazing! The staff was above friendly and helpful!
