"We stayed at the Lone Star Inn in Dickinson for a couple of days as a stop during our family vacation this summer, and I was honestly impressed. I was a bit hesitant at first since it’s not a big chain hotel, especially while traveling with kids—but as soon as we walked into our rooms, my concerns disappeared. We booked two rooms, and both were very clean, including the bathrooms. The rooms had all the basics we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a no-frills place, but everything was well maintained and just what we needed to rest. The location is also super convenient—right off the highway, with plenty of fast food options nearby, even a Starbucks within walking distance. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, the location, price, and cleanliness made this a great choice for our family. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place to stay. "

"The pool was our favorite part of the stay. Very laccessible, lots of lounge chairs to sit on, the pool is huge so my kids were ablw to swim and play without disturbing orher guest. I also love the outdoor game area. Specially the chess set, my family and I enjoyed our stay here. "

"This is definitely the place to stay at when in Galveston. I have stayed at other places and have always been disappointed. Most places are bait and switch, the lobby and front desk look great but the rooms and other facility areas are run down. The Harbor House is top notch from entrance to the showers you can’t beat it, and the staff are wonderful always pleasant and will to help. "
