「The unit was very clean and spacious. We were visiting for the marathon so it was great to have our own kitchen. Grocery store was only a 5 min walk away and the shuttle to the race start was only a 2 min walk. Security guards at the entrance to the hotel so safe. You do need to be street smart as soon as you exit the hotel and walking towards the train station area is more prone to cell phone theft and begging. Just be smart. We were able to walk to hop-on-hop-off bus start in 10 mins.」

「We stayed here only overnight for flying out from Johannesburg. The room was very modern, clean and quiet which along with kitchen and outdoor platform made it ideal for my family to relax and enjoy. You have to check in by the front desk and provide passport and other personal details for security but it was relatively quick. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and walkable distance to nearest mall as well as under half hour driving distance to The Satyagraha house and Nelson Mandela Square...

「Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Check-in was confusing since I received no prior instructions, and despite arriving after the 3:00 PM check-in time, I had to wait in the hallway while housekeeping finished up.
