「Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. 「We stayed here only overnight for flying out from Johannesburg. The room was very modern, clean and quiet which along with kitchen and outdoor platform made it ideal for my family to relax and enjoy. You have to check in by the front desk and provide passport and other personal details for security but it was relatively quick. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and walkable distance to nearest mall as well as under half hour driving distance to The Satyagraha house and Nelson Mandela Square...

Easy quick walk to Mall of Africa if one needs something. Safe compound. There's even a completely fine restaurant right one the premises (Olives & Plates).
