Very clean, very friendly and various free services provided including free late night soba and ice cream by the onsen. It was a quick one night stay for us so we almost felt bad that we weren't spending more time there since it was so nice.

The rooms was spotless, the staff endlessly helpful, the hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. The public and private baths are the perfect temperature as well. Lastly, the location that is essentially on top of Izumo-taisha - which you should absolutely visit - and local shops.
10/10 I will be staying here in the future.

This is probably one of the best experiences that I have had whilst travelling. Don't be misled by the "hostel" designation of this guest house - it is really a boutique, luxury residence in the heart of Daikon Island. He picked me up from Yonago Airport and brought me to Yuushien Garden, and to lunch and dinner. He also took me on a tour of Sakaiminato and its port, and we...

What a wonderful stay, this location is off the beaten path for foreigners but it is such a hidden gem. It had an onsen, free drinks within a time limit, restaurant on premise, a show by performers every night, a beautiful garden and yukatas to borrow. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. Also while they do offer a shuttle, and bikes to rent, please make sure to inform them so they can be ready to take you/accomodare you. Please also make sure that if you book, you order with breakfast...
