「I stayed here on a weeknight for a wedding reception, very easy to find within 2 miles of the M1 motorway and plenty of parking. I originally booked a single room but checked a few days before and a double was cheaper so I managed to ‘upgrade’ and save some money! Check in was easy and the room was well appointed with fast WiFi, tea/coffee/mineral water and a walk-in shower with toiletries. 「This place is so impersonal. No reception you check in and cut your own room “key”. The room was sparse to say the least. No cabinets/drawers, no wardrobe a narrow shelf for the kettle. Not worth the money No electric car chargers」

We didn't want breakfast as we were going for lunch, just. Suited us. Lovely little village, church peaceful, sound of the bells chiming, like going back in time. 「Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. 」

「The rooms were clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and windows that opened enough to provide good airflow. There were a couple of minor issues in the bathroom. The plastic trim around the shower base had a large hole, leaving sharp edges exposed, so you had to be careful not to catch your toes. The light above the mirror also had a bulb out. 「Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. 」
