A brilliant stay at the Pack Horse again for us, thank you. It's our first choice when visiting relatives. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have good facilities. All the staff are great, the breakfast choice is fantastic and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

The Pack Horse Inn was absolutely amazing! I’m a frequent traveler and this has by far been one of my favorite places to stay. The location was perfect and since I’ve always wanted to stay out in the countrysides of town and away from the city to enjoy the scenery, walks, and quiet. The inn was everything I expected but even more the moment you arrive and walk in. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The room was comfortable, always clean, and you can open the windows to the beautiful surroundings. I can’t say enough in a summary about this place, but I will say, if you want a perfect retreat away from everything into the English countrysides, I recommend the Pack Horse Inn.

The Pack Horse Inn was everything I was hoping it would be. We were welcomed like family, the food and service were spectacular, and the room was beautiful! The bed is so comfy, the claw foot tub is to die for, and so much more. We highly recommend checking out the Pack Horse Inn.

Nice welcoming Free House with rooms, very pleasant and helpful staff, very good breakfast choices and the pub food was generous and well prepared. Our room, despite it being October, became very hot overnight without the heating being on so we would recommend guests use the AC units provided in the room.

This is such a lovely, homely hotel. The staff are kind and welcoming. The food is lovely and the breakfast options are amazing to start you off for a day of walking. The rooms are nice and cosey and lovely and warm. I would definitely stay again for going anywhere near the area.

En veldrevet og populær perle på landet.

Vi ankom tidlig, men fikk sette bagasjen på rommet. Vi ønsket å dra inn til Manchester uten bil, så vi fikk skrevet ut togtider og ble forklart veien til stasjonen. Var tilbake til middag, og hadde heldigvis bestilt bord, for både puben og spisesalen var full. Menyen var variert og fin, maten var veldig god, og det var god stemning. Vi hadde et stort rom med stor, god seng, behagelige lenestoler, skrivebord, klesskap og TV, vannkoker med the, kaffe og kjeks. Badet var som rommet stort, i klassisk engelsk stil med to vasker og badekar. Til frokost kunne vi velge full engelsk frokost, grøt, omelett eller andre kombinasjoner, med valgfritt drikke til. Alt var delikat, kortreist og velsmakende. Siden hotellet ligger på landsbygda, var det godt å sove der, og rommet hadde fantastisk utsikt. Betjeningen var rask og hjelpsom, alt i alt et sted vi gjerne drar tilbake til.
