「Perfect location」

「Great location and beach. The beach was not always cleaned up in the mornings- overflowing trash etc. the room was somewhat clean. Liked that they offer beach towels so you don’t have to pack that. There was one staff member that wouldn’t allow anyone to play games on the beach even where there was empty space. He wasn’t very professional or kind when delivering the message. He instructed guests to go to neighboring properties. Breakfast options are limited which is fine for a night or two.」

「1- the AC didn’t work in our room for 2 days. They initially tried blaming the outside temp (85-94), but the room wasn’t comfortable enough to sleep in. They sent maintenance twice but couldn’t fix. Had to switch rooms mid-stay. The new room just two doors down was downright chilly, so it wasn’t the outside temp causing problems. The common areas weren’t cooled during 90 degree days. 2- hot/cold water in all faucets was reversed. That’s a huge problem when traveling with a special needs kid who...

「Unfortunately, our stay at Beach Haus was disappointing. While the location near Lake Michigan is beautiful, the property itself didn't match the expectations set by the photos and price. The room felt dated and lacked the level of cleanliness and upkeep we expected. We also found the overall experience to be underwhelming, and the amenities didn't justify the cost. Breakfast was okay but minimal, and the property felt more like a basic motel than the boutique lakeside stay we were hoping for....
