"I loved the old fashioned decor and the place was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was really nice and there was flexibility within a time frame for when to be served. Just a heads up, there was a small sink in the room but the bathroom and shower was per floor and there was no TV if those are priorities for you. We didn't mind at all but others may find those two things a bit of a put off."

"The room was cozy, clean and had everything I needed esp coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. I especially liked that it is located on the Heritage Trail so I could easily walk out the hotel door and walk or bike the trail. The management was responsive quickly to my questions. Thanks for a nice stay."

"What an amazing Resort! Full of history and old charm. Beautiful huge covered porch that faces the lake. A perfect location for relaxing, reading or enjoying a beverage with friends. Huge spacious common rooms in the hotel building. Wonderful pictures of days gone by. I will definitely come back. "
