「Good friendly staff」

「Excellent, friendly service from all the staff. The hotel was a long walk along the front from the ferry terminal but taxis were available outside on the street in front of the port. Very nice breakfast each morning which offered porridge, kippers and boiled eggs to order as well as cereal, pastries and full English. The room was lovely and clean with views over the sea front (we paid extra for the sea view) In the evening a gentle man was playing the piano in the bar which was pleasant while...

「It's a bit dated, still very nice. Brett, the receptionist was awesome. Gave us great places to go and eat/drink. Very friendly people all around. Housekeeping was very good and refilled everything daily. Car rental gentleman were fun and informative. Bar staff friendly and accommodating. Just a nice place to stay.」

「My experience was very good if not excellent. Parking was a bit tricky as it’s a public parking and Mon-Fri 8am to 6pm restriction means you have to move your car every 2 hours, but if you’re spending the day out visiting places then parking restriction is not a worry.」

Near bus stop and promenade, also walkable distance to main streets and dock. To nitpick, there’s creaky sound walking on the wooden floor.」

「The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. 」

「No reception had to call via the phone number on Hotels.com to contact the host who would then meet you outside. Lovely location but the rooms are very small with very low ceilings. Comfortable bed but the place could do with a touch of style and finesse to make it a 5*. 」

「We stayed in the family suite with 2 twins and one king bed. Very beautiful room with high ceilings and large bathroom. Great for our family of 3 adults. Location was fantastic and a quick walk to the main road, nice walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant. We had a great breakfast every morning.
