"Hotel Von is located in the perfect location for exploring the city. You can walk to the harbor or the old square in about 10 minutes, and you have plenty of resaturants and shopping around you. We were able to store our bags after checking out so we could explore before leaving. I would stay here again next time in Reykjavik. "

"This hotel has an industrial feel to the room decor which is a bit stark and possibly not to everyone’s taste. There is a huge building site outside and the room has no net curtains so you’re either overlooked by workmen or in the dark. But that’s the negatives. The location is great. It’s a short walk to the centre or to the old dock area where there are shops and restaurants and various attractions. Plenty of restaurants within a very short walk. You can park nearby on residential streets...
