This was a very clean and cute little hotel that suited our purposes well in terms of proximity to some of the last sites that we wanted to see as well as being fairly close to the airport! The loft area was a little in the tiny side, which would be more suitable for kids.

This was a fun little hotel. The atmosphere was unique and fun. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was great, easy to get to everything by car. We ate at the hotel restaurant a couple times, both time the food was good and the service was excellent. The breakfast was self serve with a nice variety of food. We would stay here again.

Very cool place! Soaked in the beautiful little hot tub. The restaurant next door had amazing food and drink, the staff wasvery pleasent and welcoming. Loved all the viking themed trinkets and overall vibe. Neat little stay for seeing the volcano and surrounding sites. Highly recommend!!

It is a very unique property. The sauna and hot tub were fantastic. The included breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and super helpful and went above and beyond when we needed to arrange taxis and rides. The food at the adjoining restaurant was delicious and the most reasonably priced menu we found in Iceland.

Hotel Viking is an exceptional stay. The staff at the hotel and its restaurant are absolutely the best to make the guests comfortable with an enjoyable experience. The decorations in both the hotel and the restaurant so authentic and makes one feel like walking into the past with lots of Viking artifacts. Hot tub is the only thing not working well, the water temp is not hot enough. But the bathtub in the guest room is really well-designed and works really well. Will definitely stay there on my next trip. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this property to anyone unless you’re a super budget traveller looking for an upgrade from a hostel. The rooms look to be original and it was difficult to find a wall outlet to charge a phone. I will say the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was also below expectation.

This time we got the renovated cottage. It was clean and comfortable . Overall this is a convenient location but the place could be a bit more spacious. We didn’t use the hot tub and sauna since it was all crunched within a very small space. Breakfast is really good and staff was welcoming.
